     This is the ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing Sysytem) Polartec fleece mid-layer trousers. Developed for US forces in extreme cold conditions, this fleece mid layer is superbly effective at keeping in body heat. The trousers  have shoulder loops to adjust for height and when combined with the Polartec fleece jacket, you have an incredibly efficient insulating layer.

 Please note, these trousers are made slightly shorter than normal trousers so as not to extend beyond the leg of the overtrouser. They can also be length adjusted by means of the movable shoulder straps
