This is the USAF nomex flight glove that is issued to pilots and crew as part of the issue flight kit. Superb quality, they are made from a very soft and supple cowhide/sheepskin palm and inner face of the fingers. The outer is made from genuine Dupont
nomex fire resistant material which is also supple. They offer
fire and heat protection up to a temperature of 850F ans yet will remain soft and pliable when wet. They are double stitched with fireproof
nomex thread for added strength and durability. As they are so soft and pliable, they allow full finger dexterity, needed for many military and
police procedures.
Only available in size 8, a medium size but they will give a little. Size 8 corresponds to a hand measurement of 8 inches when a measurement is taken around the widest part of the palm.
