I bought a few of these for my goth girlfriend and she was over the moon with them. Had a few in the past but they buckled very easily - these ones are great. Thanks!

Rating Dutch Camo Tent
5 Star Rating Review
I got sick of living under a troop shelter/tarp on excercise and bought this tent in 2002.It is the bees knees. This is definately not a man portable system, as it fits in a kit bag 2ft long by 1 ft wide but its benefits far outweigh this. It is best kept on the back of a Bedford, Wolf, Pinzgauer, Panzer etc; stuffed in a handy corner. The main advantage is, that this is Dutch DPM which means even the most anal Senior Rank poking about your field location, will find it hard to pick up on as not British issue kit. It is fast and simple to erect and collapse. The floor of the tent is 3ft x 7ft of near-on indestructable heavy duty plastic and the space inside is big enough to fit you, your sleeping system, weapon and bergen. There are excellent mosquito vents in the upper doors which can be closed with heavy duty velcro storm flaps. A valuables pockets is sown into the back wall and each side of the tent (consisting of two doors per side) can be rapidly zipped open for fast exit, or left open and hanging closed. The doors run the full surface area of each side of the tent and are closed with heavy, no nonsense zips and can also be tied back with fitted toggles. The height at the apex of the tent is designed so the highest interior point is where you would naturally sit up, from a sleeping position. At 6ft tall, I can sit upright in my tent, without a problem. The material used from the floor up, is a hard wearing and very well proofed DPM laminate, that appears not to induce condensation inside the tent. Its not goretex, but mine has never leaked, even in a deluge and I have only ever re- proofed it once, at the cost of an inexpensive can of spray from Millets. The interior is pretty much a blackout area in the dark, so you can use a red light source inside the tent and not give your location away. There are only two plain upright poles, each consisting of two matt black sections, with one pole each side of the tent at the mid point of the doors. With the simple few guy ropes, high winds arent an issue at all. Each tent has external zips, to link several tents together. In short, this tent as a one man shelter, is hard wearing, windproof and simple to erect. I have had many a warm, dry nights sleep in mine, while other have got miserable, wet and cold, under a flapping tarp. For RAMC, REME, R SIGNALS, RLC, RMP and any other corps that operates from vehicles in the field and locations for several days, it is ideal to use. Far better than trying to sleep in a 9X9 tent with every sod clumping in day and night, interrupting your sleep. My tent has been worth every penny. The MOD Troop Shelter (tarp) is fine for the short term and foot patrols of a couple of days but on long ops, this tent keeps your morale up, even in the worst of weather. It was a shame the Dutch Armed Forces gave more thought to shelter for their guys in the field, than the MOD ever did, at the time this tent was made. My next move up will be to try and buy a TCOP (US Army one man dome tent) when they ever reach the UK. Enjoy.

Rating US Army New Style Desert Boots
5 Star Rating Review
for a start i find it hard to believe these boots are anything but brand new, they show so little sign of wear. these are some of the most comfortable boots i have ever worn (and i all but live in timberlands), not only do they feel good to wear the quality in the making of these boots is plain to see, soles stitched on to the uppers not just glued on, treble stitching all around the joins on the uppers. love em, and to cap it all, these good as new boots are as tough as old boots

Rating US Army Surplus Tricolour Desert Gortex Jacket
5 Star Rating Review
What can I say? Prompt service & excellent product - wore it in the recent snow & rain extensively for dog walking I walk for at least two hours every day, it did exactly what it says on the tin! Kept me dry & warm especailly with layers underneath. Why pay a lot more for Gore-Tex coats by mountain equipment manufacturers when you can have this? Beware of cheap 'alikes'. Over trousers next...
